I&#039;ve been using MySql Admin tool to manage databases up to 4GB and it worked pretty well. 
I&#039;m not sure though there is a way to optimize the export/import of a 48GB database other than disable keys and run the dump and then import :) 
That is a HUGE database!</description>

		<description>Mysql workbench is good for small to mid level databases (0-1gb). For anything bigger than that say the db im currently working with of about 48gb its not as stable.</description>
